UNION GAP, Wash. – Dogs had the chance to get their photo with Santa Claus at Manning Dog Training on Sunday as part of a fundraiser for Wags to Riches.
“We are kind of the voice for the voiceless,” said Juanda Krebs, a volunteer for the non-profit.
Dog owners made cash donations for the pictures and also brought pet food to help the “Animal Meals on Wheels” program.
Santa will be back for more photos on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Manning Dog Training is located on 1008 W. Ahtanum Rd.
Organizers say cats and dogs need even more attention, especially those without a home, during the winter.
“These animals,” said Krebs. “They can’t ask for your help but we can do it for them.”
